Dress code

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Formal attire is requested. For women, elegant gowns or cocktail dresses are perfect. For men, suits or tuxedos are ideal. Dress as you would for a sophisticated evening event.

ARE SPECIFIC COLORS REQUIRED?

There’s no requirement—feel free to express your personal style in what makes you feel most confident. However, if you’d like to join us in a unified look, we’d love to see you in your best black outfit.

ARE CHILDREN WELCOME AT THE WEDDING?

We're planning an intimate afternoon and evening with a formal dinner and plenty of drinks. To ensure a relaxed atmosphere for everyone, we kindly request that our special day be an adult-only occasion. We encourage you to arrange for a babysitter so you can fully enjoy the celebration with us.

DO YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

We're dedicated to making sure every guest enjoys a wonderful dining experience. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and kosher options will be available. Please indicate your dietary preferences when you RSVP, and we’ll ensure you’re well taken care of.

WHERE CAN I STAY IN BERLIN?

If you're interested in staying at the stunning Schlosshotel Grunewald, we recommend reserving your suite as soon as possible, as availability is limited. You can easily make a reservation by contacting their team at reservations@schlosshotelgrunewald.com.

For those who prefer other accommodations, whether it’s a hotel or an Airbnb, feel free to reach out to us directly or to our wedding planner Isabel Merfort for recommendations on the best areas to stay. We’re happy to assist!

Please note that transportation to and from the venue is self-organized. While there will be no shuttle services available in the evening, you can easily call a taxi at any time of day or night by dialing the Berlin taxi number: 030 202020. Taxis will arrive quickly to get you where you need to go.

HOW DO I GET TO THE VENUE?

The Schlosshotel Grunewald by Patrick Hellmann is a boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Berlin's exclusive Grunewald district, just 20 minutes from the city center. The hotel is conveniently located 25 minutes from Berlin Brandenburg Airport. The local train station is a short 10-minute walk away, offering quick connections to the city center. While there is limited free parking at the hotel and in the surrounding streets, we recommend arriving by Uber or taxi for convenience.
